20 Dec 2007 - Active Families Project - Free Christmas Fun!

Activities on offer included;

Trampolining, football, arts & crafts, dancing, giant games, table tennis, speed stacking, basketball, singing and an indoor "snowball fight!"

The activities were being organised by Chelmer Housing Partnership, Nacro Community Sports Project, Chelmsford Borough Council and Chelmsford Sport & Athletics Centre.

Staff and children sing some Christmas songs to anybody who wandered in to the Athletics Centre!

Children let out all of their anger in a giant indoor snowball fight in the sports hall!

Staff were hiding behind the curtains at this point... just in case!

Youth Service staff organise the arts and crafts session upstairs.

Football is always a popular option, especially amongst the boys.

Children get an opportunity to time themselves at the speed stacking table.

David sneaks off to the refreshment table to undertake a "quality check" on the mince pies and coffee!
