18 Dec 2007 - Sam wins Volunteer of the Year 2007!

Sam Mollison wins the Volunteer of the Year award for 2007, for the Chelmsford Community Sports Project.

Sam has passed his F.A. Coaching Football level 1 award and is waiting for the assessments for level 2.

He is off to Camp America in the summer of 2008 to put all his coaching experience to further use.

Sam volunteers for the project on Monday evenings at Beaulieu Park.

David Streetley commented on the award;

"Both Allen and I agreed that Sam was deservedly winner of this award.  His attitude and commitment to the project has been greatly appreciated and the way he has continued to develop himself by way of the F.A. coaching courses has been a great credit to himself.  It is a wonderful advert for the project and for potential volunteers to see someone progress through level 1 & 2 courses and be accepted for Camp America in the summer of 2008.  We will be expecting a full account of his summer experience and we hope he will able to carry on when he gets back!"
