5 Mar 2008 - Funding for New Minibus!

With the old minibus on it's last wheels, so to speak... Allen has secured £7,500 from the Youth Capital Fund to replace it.

The minibus is used to transport students for the Sports Ed programme mainly, but is also used for volunteer and Sports Ed trips, holiday sessions and can be used for our weekly sessions also.

It is planned that the new bus will have 17 seats, CD player and will have a door that closes properly!  Allen will also arrange for a local company to kit out the new bus with the Nacro logo and contact details, just like the old one.

Project staff, volunteers and all of our users would like to take this opportunity to thank the Youth Capital Fund for agreeing to fund this venture which will make a huge difference to our project and it's users.
