Meet The Staff

 

Two members of full time staff are employed at Nacro's Chelmsford Community Sports Project.  The rest of the team are made up of local volunteers who give up their time in order for us to be able to run the sessions and activities that we deliver.

 

All of our staff are;

     - Qualified coaches

     - CRB checked

     - First Aid qualified

     - Child protection trained

     - Health & Safety trained

     - Drug & alcohol awareness trained

 

Nick Emery

Nick finished with the project in July 2007 and is off to travel the world and we wish him all the best for the future. His memory lingers on...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Allen Kittles

Sports Ed Co-ordinator

 

Allen is the main tutor on our 5-day alternative education programme. When he is not delivering on our Sports Ed programme he assists on the delivery of our holiday programmes and evening sessions.

 

Experience:

Allen has been working for Nacro since 2004 as a part-time detached project worker. In 2005 Allen became Full-time Sports Development worker and is currently working on the Alternative Education project. 

 

Allen was previously a volunteer with the Nacro Braintree Sports Project for 7 years and he has brought all of his experience and knowledge to the Chelmsford Project.

David Streetley

Community Sports Co-ordinatotr

 

David co-ordinates all of our evening football sessions, holiday programmes and manages the team of volunteers that assist with this.  He also organises the In Schools work in conjunction with the Essex F.A.

 

Experience:

David joined the team in January 2006.  He has 15 years experience in the leisure industry and has been a qualified F.A. coach since 1993.  He is currently taking his F.A. Level 3 course.

 

David has experience of coaching at all levels of football including women's football, semi-professional men's teams and football academies.
